Thursday August 27th, 2009 – Fishing Report
Banner day today with all boats fishing for a full Lodge of people. Plenty of fish hit the dock today with a great assortment, plenty of nice silvers, including a real nice 16.6 pounder a couple nice Kings, including a 17 pounder, a couple nice bright chums and a few pinks rounded out the salmon catch. The a couple halibut hit the dock this afternoon, including a 60 pounder, several nice yellow eye snapper and a few rock fish.
A great day of fishing in spite of the weather, plenty of wind this morning, then it died down until time to head back in this afternoon, then it started blowing again. Couple rain drops throughout the day but not much. Fall is just around the corner, you can feel it in the air.
