The weather turned around a little today, no rain, but there was plenty of wind in the afternoon. There was a short salmon bite in the morning just before the wind picked up, but once the wind started it was a very tough day of fishing.
Several boats made out pretty good and drug in a few fish, but it was slimmer pickin's today for sure.
One young man - Gavin Prentice - 10 years old managed a limit today with a real nice King Salmon and a very nice halibut at 92 1/2 pounds!! It weighed more than he did and he brought it up entirely by himself!! Great job Gavin!!
Here is the proof of his big halibut!!
What a nice fish Gavin!!
Now on with more pics...
And Finally - My guests had a wonderful day of boating and One small rock fish all 1.2 pounds of it!!
Another fine day at beautiful Yes Bay Lodge in SE Alaska!!
