June 21st - Better weather, but slow King salmon fishing

The weather was much better today with less wind a little sprinkle of rain, then sunny and nice in the afternoon. The morning King bite was DEAD!! A few take-downs and that was it. This afternoon things looked up with more knock downs and a few hook-ups, some nice sized shakers and 1 boat had a keeper, but the activity level was much better. Hopefully tomorrow there will be a big bite on!!

On with the pictures...

The Lodge is booked full for the next few weeks, so we are looking forward to a bunch of fishing with all guides booked everyday! Now if the Kings cooperate and the halibut continue to cooperate, we will all be happy campers!!

Another fabulous day of fishing at Yes Bay Lodge in SE Alaska...

Stay tuned for a "Batmans Brief" to follow....
