Sunday – July 5th – 2009 – Yes Bay Lodge Fishing Report
The weather continues to be beautiful – in fact it was downright hot today – measured temperature of 84 degrees!! Wait, this is supposed to be Alaska!!
Anyway the fishing was as hot as the weather – with all the pinks and bright chum you could catch and a ton of shaker Kings, but the big Kings continue to elude us. Thank goodness my guests had their 1 fish annual limit of Kings the first day, so it was gather all the pinks and chums and silvers that we could. Then spend the afternoon bottom fishing. Managed three nice yellow eye snapper (red snapper) and some beautiful sea bass, but no halibut today.
