July 3rd - Yes Bay Lodge Fishing Report

Rain, Rain and more rain was the order of the day for today, oh and I forgot to add a couple more things, wind and cold and one more thing a steady King bite...most boats were into Kings this afternoon for sure and a few in the morning...also several boats found some nice pinks and a couple chums, but halibut were pretty hard to come by, with several boats trying and none really succeeding...

Lots of pics today and some really nice kings for one group (family) fishing in three boats they had a great King Day!! Worthy of my camera...this will be used down the road in our booth and in some literature I am sure...

Zublin Family King Day!!

A nice 33 pounder as part of the Zublin catch on Batman's boat

And a happy "crew" member who went fishing with Big John on her day off!! Congratulations Samantha on your first King!

A great day of fishing at Yes Bay Lodge in SE Alaska in spite of the wind, the rain and the cold...it is Alaska folks!!

Oh and we have now renamed an area of Bell Island we fish, it is now Dan's Drift! Since it seems everyone cuts in front of him and nails a fish!! Yes he was a little whiny this evening....good old Slammer Dan!
