Blog Update - July 28th - Bears!

When out to the river looking for bears again and was rewarded with better lighting and the same Momma Bear and her cub, although the cub stayed in the weeds and was not visible. She then shooed it up across the road and into the woods and she followed very quickly, but I managed a couple shots in the river and running across the road right by me!

Saw a friend and his dog and just had to grab a dog shot...



On the way back towards town I grabbed a nice panorama of Haines!



Had a great day yesterday the campground is full for the SE Alaska State Fair and town is real busy...had some fun at the fair and enjoyed some fair food!

Lots of people heading out today so the park has a few open spots for tonight.
