August 31st - Fall is here! Weather Change!

Well, fall was in the sir today with windy and rough water, rain all day and cooler temperatures....although the fishing was pretty good! Plenty of nice big silvers around and the morning bite was pretty steady and strong with many boats getting their limit!

August 30th Great Day - Great Fishing!

It just could not have gotten better at Yes Bay today...good weather, great fishing, who could ask for more...plenty of large silvers around for the morning bite and some nice halibut for the afternoon bite....

I had one of my best friends up visiting the Lodge and we managed a limit of big Coho's in the morning and then landed a real nice 87.7 pound halibut in the afternoon, it was a real good day of fishing for us....light winds in the afternoon and a few sprinkles of rain, all in all a great day!

August 29th - Great Day of Fishing!!

The weather held for another day, with warm temperatures, light winds and overcast skies with only a light occasional drizzle of rain! The silver fishing remained strong, although not fast and furious, but steady with some nice sized fish for the patient ones!!

August 28th - Great Weather - Great Fishing!!

The weather stayed real nice with overcast skies and light winds, great fishing weather!!

The silvers are starting to get more regular and bigger, the silver runs are arriving every day which means Good Fishing.

August 27th - Good Weather and Good Fishing!

Overcast and calm today with just a few sprinkles throughout the day! The fishing remains good with a solid salmon bite most of the day, although slow at times, but consistent. Larger silvers are starting to arrive and there are still a few pinks around although most are getting a little dark...new chums are starting to arrive and we expect more over the coming weeks.
