June 18th - Fishing Report

Thursday – June 18th – Fishing Report!

Today for me was a slower day – we went exploring South to see if we could find some more King Salmon and struck out! There was a morning bite at Bell Island and some of our boats were there to benefit, so there are Kings around…we will hit it hard in the morning again. We went up there in the afternoon and trolled for Kings, then did some bottom fishing for halibut and managed to pull out a nice 33 pounder! We also had a couple other nice take downs and of course we managed a few dogfish sharks! Drat!!

The fishing is still nice and steady and the weather has been cooperating it rained most of today, but the winds remained calm, so it was very pleasant!

See attached pics – there are a couple from previous days, they are the “in the boat” pictures, supplied by some of the other guides!

Enjoy,

Capt Jim
